§ MR. GLANVILLEasked the Minister of Pensions (1) whether he is considering any rearrangement of the local war pensions committees which will result in the local committees in London boroughs being directly appointed by himself; and if so, whether he proposes to appoint the members upon the advice of the public authority for each borough;
(2) whether, under any rearrangement of the local war pensions committees in London, he will ensure that all appointments shall be made by publicly elected bodies?
§ Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANSI cannot usefully make any announcement at present. I will not, however, overlook the hon. Member's suggestion.
