§ MAJOR GLYNasked the Minister of Transport whether he will arrange, in consultation with the Secretary for Scotland, for a conference between himself and representatives of local authorities in Scotland with a view to necessary consideration and action regarding the condition of the highways, bridges, etc., in Scotland and the present rating situation, especially in some northern counties?
Sir RHYS WILLIAMSI shall be glad to meet representatives of the local authorities for Scotland if they so desire, to discuss the matters referred to.
