Coles was employed on civilian duties in the Gorleston Telephone Exchange, his regimental particulars from the 5th September, 1915. to the 8th February, 1918, being No. 315475, 63rd Provisional Battalion, Middlesex Regiment, and from the 8th February, 1918, till the 11th February, 1919, No. 526389, 397th H. S. Employment Company; whether he is aware that this soldier entered a claim some time ago for civilian rate of pay in accordance with the War Office decision; and whether he will have a settlement of this claim expedited?
