§ Mr. REMERasked the Prime Minister whether the arrangement existing between the North-Eastern Railway Company and the Government is of such a nature that the £50,000 paid by that company to the right hon. Member for Cambridge will be repayable to the company by the British taxpayer?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI do not know whether this will be charged to revenue or capital, and the point would, I presume, be decided by a Government auditor. Up to the present the company have borne the payment.
