Colonel THORNEasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether soldiers who have been demobilised since 1st February are entitled to receive the increase in pay granted to soldiers and officers; and if he will take action in the matter?
§ Mr. FORSTERA soldier who has been demobilised since 1st February is entitled to the bonus from that date if prior to demobilisation he had been temporarily 863W retained for service with the military machinery of demobilisation or in an administrative capacity. If he was not so retained, but was in receipt of pay on the 1st May, he will draw the bonus from that date.
