§ Major BARKERasked the Secretary of State for War what are the reasons for the delay in the matter of the demobilisation of men of the Royal Army Medical Corps who enlisted in 1914 and 1915; and what steps are being taken to surmount any peculiar difficulties?
Captain GUESTPersonnel of the Royal Army Medical Corps, though eligible for demobilisation, are liable to be temporarily retained as part of the military machinery for demobilisation. Men so retained are being released as soon as their services can be spared or they can be replaced, and they are being replaced by men who are not eligible for demobilisation as rapidly as possible.
