Lieutenant-Colonel BUCKLEYasked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware that on or about 18th March some eighteen ex-soldiers were discharged from No. 4 Aircraft Salvage Depot, Aintree, while about forty men who had served neither in the Army nor the Navy were retained; that many of these men were of military age, and that practically all of them held positions which could have been filled by ex-soldiers, and if, in view of the undertaking given to employ ex-soldiers whenever possible, he will have a thorough inquiry made into the whole circumstances?
