Mr. J. JONESasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that a large number of enemy prisoners of war are employed at the Royal Engineers' depot at Canning Town, West Ham, E.; and whether, in view of the great dissatisfaction that exists amongst the workers in the locality, including a large number of demobilised soldiers and sailors, he will arrange for these; prisoners to be removed, and have the work done by British labour at full trade union rates of wages and conditions of employment?
