WILSONasked the President of the Local Government Board whether the bricks, joinery, locks, etc., that he has 1120W ordered are to be sold direct to municipal and local authorities for the purposes of their housing schemes, or through the agency of local merchants; and whether such sale will be at cost price or plus a profit to the Government?
§ Major ASTORThe bricks and other building materials for which orders have been placed by the Ministry of Munitions will be supplied directly and at cost price for the use of local authorities undertaking housing schemes approved by the Local Government Board.
