§ Sir HENRY HARRISasked the Pensions Minister whether the maximum grant which a local war pensions committee can make in respect of the funeral of a discharged disabled man, whose death is attributable to his war service, is £5; whether he is aware that at the present time it is not possible to arrange for a funeral in London at so small a cost as £5; and whether he will give the local war pensions committee discretionary powers to make a larger grant in cases where it will otherwise be necessary to have recourse to the guardians?
§ Sir J. CRAIGThis matter is still under consideration.
