HC Deb 04 June 1919 vol 116 c2037W
Mr. JOYNSON-HICKS

asked the Under-Secretary of State to the Air Ministry, whether there is any accommodation for civilian aviation in the South-East corner of England lying between Margate and Deal; whether he is aware that the coast towns there are looking forward to the possibilities of such aviation during the summer; and whether arrangements can be made to utilise a portion of the Mansion aerodrome for this purpose?

Major-General SEELY

The answer to the first question is in the affirmative. No requests for aerodrome accommodation in the area mentioned have been received and there have been no special representations as to the possibilities of civil aviation there this summer. There would be no objection to the use of part of Mansion aerodrome for civil aviation this summer.
