asked the Secretary of State for War why the 2/lst Notts Royal Horse Artillery were sent to India from Mesopotamia after being ordered for demobilisation; and when they are to be sent back to England?

For shipping reasons, nearly all cadres from Mesopotamia are sent to this countryviaIndia. The cadre of the unit in question has been detained in India, with others, owing to the conditions prevailing there. The Commander-in-Chief in India has been asked to send home at an early date representative cadres of all such units.
