§ Mr. BALDWINThe total Grants already made and promised to highway authorities in connection with the road and bridge programme 1919–20 amount to £8,610,009. Of this sum £2,210,194has been made and promised to highway authorities in Greater London, including the counties of Hertfordshire, Surrey, Kent, and Essex, part of whose area lies without Greater London.
