SPROTasked the Secretary of State for India whether the Government of India have ruled that an officer of the Indian Army has no right of appeal to the King; if so, will he explain the grounds of this ruling in view of Section 42 of the Army Act; and whether the decision of the Governor-General is final in cases of appeal by officers?
§ Mr. MONTAGUI am not aware that the Government of India have given this ruling, but I will inquire.
