§ Mr. SEXTONasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the importance of developing the fisheries at the little fishery harbours all round the coast, he will take into consideration the desirability of including the administration of these small fishery harbours and the maintenance of quick and cheap communications between them and the railway systems a part of the functions of the national authority to which will be entrusted the united railway and canal systems?
§ Mr. BRIDGEMANThe question of the future control and administration of fishing harbours is receiving consideration, but I am not able at present to make any statement on the subject.
