§ Major ASTORIn conjunction with the Admiralty, War Office, and Air Ministry, my right hon. Friend has recently appointed an Inter-departmental Committee to consider the prevention and spread of infectious disease arising in connection with demobilisation, and this Committee is dealing, amongst others, with venereal diseases, recognising the urgency of the matter. I may remind my hon. Friend that the Royal Commission on Venereal Diseases reported as recently as 1916.
