§ Major ASTORInformation is being collected as to the number of ballot papers issued to absent voters and returned before the count and accepted as valid; the returns from a few constituencies have not yet been received. As soon as the information is complete, I shall be glad to furnish the hon. Member with the information for England and Wales. I will communicate with the Scottish Office and the Irish Office as to particulars for Scotland and Ireland.
