CARTERasked the Secretary of State for War if he will state what information is in his possession with regard to the position of Austrian and other prisoners in Siberia; and what action the Allies and Associated Governments propose to take with regard to the repatriation of such prisoners and others?
§ Mr. C. HARMSWORTHI have been asked to take this question. The answer to the first part of the question is that the condition of enemy prisoners of war in Siberia, at, the present time, is very bad. The Allied and Associated Governments, however, have agreed to the formation of an inter-Allied Commission to proceed to Siberia to arrange for the repatriation of these prisoners as soon as possible.
