§ Dr. MACNAMARAI am afraid I cannot answer this question until I know what my hon. Friend means to convey by the phrase "offences of a minor character." Imprisonment is certainly not awarded for offences of a minor character, as we understand the phrase. However, if my hon. Friend would wish to go through the scale of punishments for offences set out in the King's Regulations, I will see that he has an opportunity.
