HC Deb 04 December 1919 vol 122 c639W
Mr. HAYDN JONES

asked the Minister of Transport whether he has received proposals for the construction of a broad-gauge railway between Corwen and Bettws-y-Coed; and what steps, if any, are being taken to provide this important rural area with the necessary transport facilities?

Mr. NEAL

Proposals have been received and are at present under discussion with the county council of Denbigh, who have appointed a special committee to deal with the matter and to furnish the necessary information to this Ministry. A communication from the county council is now awaited.
