asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office (1) what decision has been arrived at with reference to the extension to warrant officers, who are recipients of the medal for long service and good conduct, of the gratuity of £5 which is paid to non-commissioned officers and men who earned this decoration;

(2)if he is now in a position to announce the increase which it is proposed to make in the amount annually allotted for meritorious service medal annuities;

(3)if he is now in a position to outline the concessions which it is proposed to make to men in receipt of service pensions?

I am afraid I cannot yet announce a definite decision, though I hope to do so shortly.
