De Keyser's Hotel (Adastral House)

.—The War Office began their evacuation on 23rd July, delay being due to the work which had to be done to convert the King, George V. Hospital into premises suit able for office accommodation and also to the difficulties connected with the fitting of telephones. It is hoped that the move will be completed early in September.

Carter's Hotel.

— This hotel was evacuted by the War Office branches at the be ginning of April. Owners usually carry out their own renovations. In this case, as the owner could not obtain the necessary labour, the work was carried out by the Office of Works and completed about 4th July.
