§ Major HILLSasked the Minister of Pensions whether, in the assessment of temporary retired pay granted to disabled officers already in receipt of a Chelsea pension, the Chelsea pension is taken into account; and, if so, whether he will consider the desirability of not following this course of procedure?
§ Sir JAMES CRAIGBy Article 1 (3) of the present Royal Warrant an officer908W holding a temporary commission receives disability retired pay made up of his service pension as a soldier, with an addition, according to the degree of disablement, varying from £100 for 100 per cent. disability.
