§ Dr. ADDISONHousing schemes are submitted in three stages—site, lay-out, and house plans. The number of site schemes submitted to the Local Government Board up to 5th April is 693, of which 224 have ben approved. The number of lay-out schemes submitted is 182, of which fifty-three have been approved, and the number of schemes including house plans submitted is 146, of which forty-nine have been approved. A more detailed statement will be issued shortly. I am unable at present to give particulars of the actual building operations commenced
