§ Mr. McCURDYI have been asked to reply. It is not intended to depart from the announcement made in January last, in which it was stated that the Food Controller does not propose to take over the 1919 potato crop, and hopes that it will not be necessary either to fix prices or to interfere with the normal methods of its distribution.
