§ Mr. WATERSONasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the l/4th Northamptonshire Regiment is in Egypt; and, if so, can he state when there is a likelihood of those men in that regiment who are eligible for demobilisation being brought home, and so allay the deep anxiety of many anxious parents and wives in the Northamptonshire district?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLI do not think that there is any reason to believe that the men of this battalion are being treated on any different footing as regards demobilisation to men in other units in Egypt. Owing to the recent outbreak, the demobilisation of all troops in that country has been temporarily suspended.
