HC Deb 14 November 1918 vol 110 c2903W
Captain BARNETT

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War how many rifle ranges other than miniature ranges have been provided in the United Kingdom since 4th August, 1914, for musketry purposes; the locality of each such range; its length; and the number of targets available?

Mr. MACPHERSON

Approximately, 485 rifle ranges have been constructed since August, 1914, comprising about 7,466 targets. The majority of the ranges are 600 yards in length. To state the exact locality of each range would necessitate reference to the various military commands.
