HC Deb 14 November 1918 vol 110 cc2910-1W
Mr. KING

asked the Secretary for Scotland how many petitions, resolutions, or protests have been received by him against the continued imprisonment of John M'Lean; whether when first artificially fed M'Lean resisted and was forcibly fed, but now takes food without struggling; and whether John M'Lean's political agent will be allowed to visit him?

Mr. MUNRO

I have received about 150 representations of the character referred to in the first part of the question. In reply to the rest of the question, I would refer my hon. Friend to the answers which he received from me on the 6th instant, and from my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the 12th instant.
