§ Mr. ALDENasked the Home Secretary whether it is possible, either out of the existing superannuation funds or out of some other fund, to grant a small war bonus to those police pensioners who are over seventy years of age and whose pension is 15s. a week or under?
§ Sir G. CAVEI regret that I cannot add anything to the reply which I gave to the hon. Member on the 21st October. The amount of the pensions is fixed by Statute and could not be increased without legislation.
