CAVEThe answer to the first part of the question is, £420,000; to the second part, the estimated net cost falling on the Metropolitan Police Fund is approximately £260,000; to the third part, the estimated total contribution receivable in 1918–19, excluding receipts in the nature of reimbursements for special services, is approximately £1,470,000.
