asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the fact that the possible conscription of women is having an unsettled effect on business houses, which now are mainly dependent on female labour, he will state whether the Government propose to introduce or support any measure dealing with this question?

The Government have no present intention of introducing legislation on this subject.
