§ Mr. FORSTERThe Civil Service bonus awarded by the Conciliation and Arbitration Board is not applicable to workmen in the employ of the War Department; their rates of wages have been regulated in accordance with the Fair-Wages Resolution. Instructions have recently been issued regarding a further bonus for clerks and writers in the employ of the War-Department at Island Bridge.
