§ Mr. ALDENasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any information to the effect that Tabriz is now in the hands of the Turks; and whether any British subjects were known to be in the city within the last few months?
Mr. BALFOURAs regards the first part of the question, an advance party of Turks is reported to have arrived at Tabriz on the 7th instant. His Majesty's Consul and the British colony left the city on the 10th of this month.
