Mr. LLEWELYN WILLIAMSasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether it is intended to publish the evidence taken by the Banks Amalgamation Committee?
2219W
§ Mr. BONAR LAWIn view of the importance of securing economies in labour, paper, and expenditure at the present time, it is no longer the usual practice to publish the evidence of committees except in special cases where there is a widespread demand for publication. It is not proposed, therefore, to publish the evidence taken by the Bank Amalgamation Committee.
