Major NEWMANasked the Food Controller why presents of game are not allowed to be sent from Ireland, where a system of food rationing is not in existence, to Great Britain; whether he is aware that a large amount of foodstuffs which would relieve the scarcity here will not be available and will probably be largely wasted; and if he will rescind the Order in question and allow game to be sent from Ireland to Great Britain without restriction?
