§ Sir WILLIAM BULLasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if the Bolshevist Government in Russia has-issued a decree or decrees suppressing religious instruction, secularising the Churches, and confiscating the property of religious bodies; and, if so, whether these measures have been brought into operation against the Anglican and other foreign religious communities in so far as these possessed establishments in Russia?
§ Lord R. CECILA decree was issued on 2nd February by the Bolshevist Government suppressing religious instruction in the schools and confiscating the property of religious bodies, but not, so far as I am aware, secularising the Churches. I have no information to the effect that these measures have been put into operation against foreign religious communities in Russia.
