HC Deb 15 November 1917 vol 99 c586W
Mr. A. RICHARDSON

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he has completed his purchases of dried fruit in Greece; and, if so, will he say when the public may expect to purchase the same?

Mr. CLYNES

It has not at present been found possible to obtain the currants required from Greece at reasonable prices. Action is, however, being taken to effect the necessary purchases on satisfactory terms.
