HC Deb 21 March 1917 vol 91 c1927W
Mr. GOLDSTONE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that George Albert Butler has been passed by the Army medical officer at the Camberwell Baths as fit for general service; whether he is aware that Mr. Butler has been certified by two medical men, one a Post Office medical officer, to be suffering from chronic bronchitis and asthma, chronic dyspepsia, gastritis, lumbago, and nervous debility and depression; whether he is aware that he is further medically certified as suffering from two hammer toes, to have another toe deformed, and, in addition, an ingrowing toenail; and whether, in the circumstances, he will order a fresh medical examination of Mr. Butler?

Mr. MACPHERSON

If my hon. Friend will furnish me with particulars of the address given at the time of registration and the date of examination by the medical board I will have inquiries made.
