O'Kelly, without charge or trial, was because he is a member of the supreme council and of the executive of the Irish Nation League, which was founded to prevent the partition of Ireland, which reserves to itself power to withdraw Irish representation from Westminster, and which insists upon Ireland's right to representation as a distinct nation in the forthcoming International Peace Conference; and are all these objects held to be illegal?
