MEEHANasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he has received a memorial from the Royal Irish Constabulary pensioners in Maryborough and other parts of Ireland setting out the inadequacy of their pensions in present conditions; and whether he will consider the advisability of taking steps to obtain an increase in their pensions to bring the 577W same in accord with the scale of pensions? contained in the Police (Ireland) Act, 1916, or, in the alternative, the granting of a bonus during the period of the War?
