ALLENasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that there will be a general holiday in the Clyde area for some ten days, about 12th July; and whether he will take steps temporarily to increase the train service in order to enable the workers to spend their holidays away from the large towns?
Mr. ROBERTSThis matter is receiving attention. I hope it will be possible to provide reasonably adequate railway facilities during the holidays for the workers in the Clyde district.
