asked the President of the Board of Education what are the latest available figures concerning the supply of teachers to public elementary schools?

The following information is given in continuation of Table 52 (A) of the Board's Statistical Volume for 1913–14.

The number of bursars, pupil teachers, and student teachers who had not been bursars recognised for the first time during 1914–15 and 1915–16 were as follows:—
