§ Mr. GINNELLasked the Chief Secretary the official reason why no inquest has been held into the death of Nicholas Ward, of 22, Boundary Street, Belfast, in consequence of rough treatment to which he was subjected in St. Mary's Hall because of his opposition to the partition of Ireland, and the official reason why no proceedings have been instituted against any of those who by the use of violence obtained a vote for partition?
§ Mr. DUKENicholas Ward is certified to have died from natural causes, namely, bronchitis and rheumatism. His death was, consequently, not reported to the coroner. The police received no complaint of the use of violence upon the occasion referred to.
