HC Deb 12 October 1916 vol 86 c221W

asked the Secretary of State for War whether there is a general complaint that promotion among Territorial officers who have not volunteered for service abroad and amongst officers of the Army whose service has been entirely at home has been much more rapid than that of officers who have been at the front a considerable time; and whether he will state the reason for this difference?

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer I gave to the hon. Member for the Birr Division of King's County on 31st July.
