§ Mr. PRATTasked the Secretary for Scotland what response he has received to his recent invitation to the owners of land in Scotland to make gifts of land to be dedicated to the settlement of sailors and soldiers on their discharge from the Navy and Army?
§ Mr. TENNANTI have not so far received any further offers since the Duke of Sutherland's gift of the estate of Borgie. As my hon. Friend is aware, the Government has introduced a Bill which I trust may stimulate generosity in this direction.
