§ Mr. BUTCHERasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what classes of persons were allowed to buy and did buy sugar direct from the Royal Commission on the Sugar Supply and from the British refiners, respectively, in the years 1915 and 1916, and on what terms as to resale and distribution and otherwise, and in what quantities; whether any written memoranda or direction was issued on the subject; and, if so, whether he will lay the same upon the Table of the House?
§ Mr. McKENNAI would refer the hon. and learned Member to my reply to a question of his on the 17th October. I am causing to be laid on the Table of the House a copy of a Memorandum on the subject, which was issued some weeks ago by the Sugar Commission.
