HC Deb 02 November 1916 vol 86 c1858W
Mr. MALLALIEU

asked the Postmaster-General if he is aware of the dissatisfaction existing amongst postal servants with the recent bonus of Is. to men and 6d. to women; that this bonus is quite inadequate to meet the increased cost of living; and, in view of what is being granted in most other departments of labour, will he grant an increased bonus or consent to the demand for such increase to be submitted to arbitration?

Mr. PIKE PEASE

I would refer the hon. Member to the announcement made to-day by the Prime Minister in answer to a question by the hon. Member for Great Grimsby.
