ALLENasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether, in view of the recent Home Office circular, in which attention is drawn to the probable connection between the increase of juvenile delinquency and the display of objectionable cinema films, he will consider the advisability of so amending the Cinematograph Act, 1909, as to place all picture theatres under the jurisdiction of the local licensing authorities, and to give such authorities complete control over such theatres in the matter of the admission of children?
