§ Mr. TENNANTThe candidates should await instructions as to their joining officer cadet units for training. In selecting candidates for admission to such units preference is given to those who have served with the Forces in the field. The delay is caused by the fact that candidates are far more numerous than are vacancies, and in future a notification to this effect will be sent in each case.
