Mr. HENDERSONThe figures given in paragraph 68 of the Board's Report for 1914–15 were based on the information available at the time of the preparation of the Report, and require revision in the light of information subsequently available.
The nineteen areas where no instruction in Domestic subjects was given (according to the information available when the Report was prepared) are as follows:
Scilly, Isles of Bridlington Lines. (Holland) Clitheroe Aldershot Congleton Edmonton Faversham Oldbury Hartlepool Swinton and Pendlebury Haslingden Lewes Berwick Middleton Bexhill Mossley Beverley Penzance (but see below). Later information shows that instruction in Domestic subjects was given in Penzance during 1914–15. In addition, the Borough of Bexhill has since commenced instruction in Cookery.
The fifty-seven areas where no instruction in Handicraft (including Light Wood-work) was given during 1914–15 are as follows: 1038W
